Yellow Water Crowfoot

Habitat: Floating-leaved to submersed plant community usually found in 3-6 ft of water.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

· Leaves are flatly divided into leaf-like branches vs. the thread-like divisions of White Water Crowfoot and Stiff Water Crowfoot

· Has a sheath before it branches into divisions

· Flowers are yellow

Look alikes include: fanwort, variable water-milfoil and other species of the Water Milfoil genus.
